Avalon Cafe and Bakery first opened in 1997. It offers artisan baked goods with 100% organic flour in the heart of Detroit.

In 1909, one mile of Woodwards was paved, making it the first paved street in the USA! Since the street was created, Woodward has always been an attraction for street races and muscle cars.You might not catch any drag races, but you might see a few classic rides as you walk the avenue.
